Our family holidays resort is a luxurious retreat, keeping in mind a family’s need for comfort and high quality services of a 5 star luxury resort. Le Mas de Thau is a collection of 6 accommodations, each one unique and decorated with a modern, authentic feel and distinctive French flare. Each distinctive holiday accommodation with a surface from 90 to 160 m² have their private entrance for 4 to 8 people.
Each appartment has its private outside space with outdoor table and chairs for dining and relaxing, whether a garden, a terrace with a camarguaise straw hut or roof terrace with stunning views.
Our entire domain can also be rented for about 30 people, there are 15 bedrooms.
All the appartments have been renovated with authentic materials, making sure to retain original features such as exposed beams and stone walls and floors, each full of character and rustic charm.
In the heart of the Mas
Our accomodations
The entrance to the accomodation is up some external stairs, and has a gate with a lock at the top, for a very securised and private terrace of 40 sqm, which will reassure every mother. Your children will have lots of space for games, the family will enjoy dinners looking out over the vines of Mas de Thau. You will be seduced by the cathedral ceiling and the light in the living room and kitchen. Le Grenache is approximately 90 sqm and can accomodate a family of 4 people. The accomodation is all on one level and therefore perfect for families with small children.
The First bedroom has a king size double bed of 160 x 200, the second bedroom has 2 twin beds of 80 x 200, a family bathroom with shower (baby baths and equipment on request).
The fitted kitchen is fully equipped with all modern facilities.
The private terrace is looking out over the organic vineyard AOP (protected controlled appellation) Picpoul de Pinet and to the woods of Saint Martin.

Le Syrah has amazingly high ceilings and there is plenty of room for families to relax in comfort. This beautiful accomodation of 120 sqm, is decorated in white and blue colors to remind you of the quite close Mediterranean sea this appartment is a delight to holiday in. Le Picpoul is a beautiful and sunny ground floor accomodation perfect for a family of 2 or three children. Evenings can be whiled away eating with the family and drinking on the fantastic private terrace of 90 m² with a camarguaise hut. Parents and children will appreciate to be close to the pool area.
The first Bedroom has an incorporated en-suite with shower and king size double bed of 160 x 200. The second bedroom is a vast en-suite bathroom with shower and 3 single beds of 80 x 200.

Our grounds
As soon as you arrive, you will feel the serenity of this estate, surrounded by nature with pine covered hills reminding you of Tuscany and far seen view of the Thau Lagoon and the Mediterranean sea.
Our resort of 20 hectares (about 50 acres) of idyllic and sprawling grounds, is oriented towards children’s safety and activities. It is entirely gated and always closed by a portal which can be opened with your own remote control (available on arrival).
Your children will have the luxury and the freedom to be children, with acres of space to run around, ride bikes and scooters, play football…
The pool area is entirely gated and secured, surronded by lavender and all Mediterranean plants, closed by a portal, is the favorite spot for all, parents and children. The big heated pool starts with a baby and toodler’s area, and finishes by a deeper dive area, lots of water games and fun for all.
The second pool will allow parents to swim and finish to relax in the outdoor Jacuzzi.
Restaurant
During your family holidays in Languedoc South France, the restaurant of Mas de Thau is reserved to the guests. We exclusively work with fresh organic products delivered by the local producers.
Every day the chef will propose 2 menus to choose for the dinner, simpler menus for children. The dinners can be either delivered to your accomodation each evening for you to eat at your leisure or eaten at the terrace of the restaurant.
You also will have the possibility to have lunch at the restaurant or order a picnic basket, according to the menu (optional). All food allergies and restrictions will be accepted, the Chef will be able to propose different menus.
The park is equipped with tables and chairs for all family picnics.
The Bar
Le Bar du Mas de Thau is located in the heart of the domain, under South France bicentenary trees, the Micocouliers. It is open daily from 10.00 am , guests can curl up and enjoy a peaceful coffee or tea on our comfortable sofas, under the camarguaise hut, relaxing while childcare has started in the kid’s club.
If you fancy a glass of something cold and a game of boules at sundown, le Bar du Mas is the perfect spot. Enjoy a beer or a glass of wine for the « aperitif » (such a french tradition), have a chat with the owners and catch up with other parents in the knowledge that your children are playing safely in the playground nearby, or riding bikes or scooters, jumping on the bouncy castle or on the trampoline, or gliding down the zip line.
